Independent local SEO consultant

Local SEO services for genuine locations and service areas

Direct consulting and implementation that connects accurate business information, eligible client-owned profiles, useful location pages, reviews, technical foundations, and lead measurement.

Abstract network of genuine client locations, websites, reviews, and local search signals

Local search is shaped by the relationship between the real business, its customers, its website, and the information Google can verify. A profile cannot compensate for an unclear offer, weak location content, inconsistent details, poor reviews, or a website that is difficult to crawl and use.

I help eligible businesses build those elements as one system. The work is delivered remotely and uses the client’s genuine locations, service areas, customer evidence, and authorized accounts. It does not depend on invented offices, virtual locations, or copied city pages.

Where SEO gets stuck

Problems I help diagnose and solve

Business information is inconsistent

Names, categories, services, hours, phone numbers, addresses, and service areas can drift across the website, profiles, and third-party sources.

The website and profile tell different stories

Local visibility is weaker when the services, locations, proof, and contact paths on the website do not support what the business profile communicates.

Location pages are copied at scale

Swapping place names creates little value. Strong pages need real coverage, service detail, customer context, proof, and a useful next step.

Local leads are poorly measured

Calls, forms, bookings, directions, and profile interactions need practical attribution so visibility can be evaluated against suitable enquiries.

Scope

What the work can include

  • Local search and competitor assessment
  • Google Business Profile review for eligible client-owned profiles
  • Business information, category, service, and attribute review
  • Local website architecture and internal-link recommendations
  • Location and service-area page strategy
  • On-page optimization for local service intent
  • LocalBusiness structured-data guidance for real business entities
  • Citation consistency and priority-source review
  • Review acquisition and response-process recommendations
  • Technical SEO and mobile experience checks
  • Call, form, booking, and landing-page measurement
  • Implementation support and post-release validation

The final scope is based on your site, access, internal resources, competition, and commercial priorities. It is documented before work begins rather than sold as a generic keyword-count package.

Working process

A clear route from diagnosis to measurable work

  1. 01

    Confirm eligibility and real coverage

We document the business model, genuine locations or service areas, priority services, ideal customers, authorized assets, and the enquiries that matter.

  2. 02

    Audit the local search system

I compare the website, profile, business information, reviews, location pages, competitors, technical foundations, and current measurement.

  3. 03

    Strengthen priority signals

Profile, page, technical, review, and citation work is sequenced around accuracy, customer value, opportunity, and implementation effort.

  4. 04

    Measure suitable enquiries

Visibility is reviewed alongside calls, forms, bookings, landing pages, and lead quality where the tracking and sales process permit it.

Engagement

Projects and ongoing support

I offer focused audits and implementation projects as well as ongoing SEO support. The right model depends on whether you need a diagnosis, a defined set of fixes, or sustained growth work across technical SEO, commercial pages, content, and authority.

Fees are scoped around site complexity, markets, implementation needs, and goals. After an initial conversation, you receive a clear scope, responsibilities, and fee before work begins.

Questions

What prospective clients usually want to know

Can you manage our Google Business Profile?

I can review and support an eligible client-owned profile when you provide authorized access and accurate business information. Ownership, eligibility, verification, and final business facts remain with the client.

Do we need a physical office for local SEO?

It depends on the business model and Google’s eligibility rules. A legitimate service-area business may not serve customers at its address. I do not recommend fake offices, borrowed addresses, or locations created only to influence rankings.

Should we create a page for every city we serve?

No. A location or service-area page should reflect genuine coverage and provide information that helps a customer make a decision. Near-identical pages that only replace the place name are not part of the approach.

Can you guarantee map-pack rankings?

No. Google describes local results as primarily based on relevance, distance, and prominence, and no consultant controls every factor. The work focuses on accuracy, usefulness, eligibility, technical quality, and measurable improvement.

Can a remote consultant do local SEO?

Yes. Research, auditing, content planning, technical work, profile support, reporting, and collaboration can be delivered remotely. The client supplies accurate first-hand information about locations, operations, services, and customers.
